Emirates has confirmed that it will resume flights
from Dubai to Nice and also Lyon on 2 July and 9 July,
respectively.
The airline will initially operate 4 flights per
week to each city using Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.
Emirates flight EK077 is scheduled to depart from
Dubai (DXB) on Mondays, Wednesday, Fridays and Sundays, at 08:45,
arriving at Nice Côte d'Azur Airport (NCE) at 13:40.
The return flight, EK078, is timed to leave Nice
at 15:55 and arrive in Dubai at 00:10 the following day.
Emirates flight EK081 is scheduled to depart Dubai
on Mondays, Wednesday, Fridays and Sundays, at 14:35, arriving at
Lyon–Saint Exupéry Airport (LYS) at 19:30.
The return flight, EK082, is slated to depart Lyon
at 21:45, arriving in Dubai at 06:05 the next day.
The resumption of flights comes after France
decided to ease entry requirements, enabling travellers based in
the UAE to visit the European country without the need for
quarantine, if they have completed the two-week period after
taking both doses of the Pfizer/BioNTech or AstraZeneca vaccine.
Fully vaccinated customers must also hold a
negative COVID-19 PCR-RT valid for 72 hours prior to departure, or
a Rapid Antigen test result no more than 48 hours old.
Emirates currently operates 14 weekly flights
to/from Paris, flying its hugely popular flagship A380 aircraft.
