The Dusit Thani
resort on Mudhdhoo Island in Baa Atoll, Maldives has appointed Paul King as
Executive Chef.
The British chef has more than 30 years of
experience leading culinary teams for luxury hotels and resorts in
the United Kingdom and Maldives.

Paul started his career in
the late 1980s in London, where he honed his skills working
for The Savoy and The Dorchester.
In 2002, Paul expanded his horizons and moved to
Maldives to work with the Hilton Rangali Resort where he spent 4
years as Chef de Cuisine Pastry.
From there, Paul joined the Evason Phuket as
Executive Sous Chef and Executive Pastry Chef before returning to
Hilton two and a half years later. On this occasion, Paul worked
with Hilton in Maldives and also Hanoi, Vietnam before joining
Jumeirah Maldives as Executive Chef.
From June 2015 to June 2020, Paul worked at the
Kuredu Island Resort & Spa as Executive Chef.
He joins the Dusit Thani Maldives from J Sainsburys Plc
after a brief spell back in the UK.
