Finnair has unveiled plans to launch non-stop flights from Arlanda,
Stockholm in Sweden to Bangkok and Phuket in Thailand, and Miami
in the United States, for the winter season 2021/2022.
All three
routes will be operated with an Airbus A350 aircraft.
“We are excited to meet the travel needs of our
Swedish customers with a non-stop service from Arlanda to Thailand
and Miami, which are among the top winter holiday destinations for
Swedes,” said Ole Orvér, Chief Commercial Officer, Finnair. “The
new flights will strengthen our offering in the Swedish market.”
From 22 October, Finnair will fly from Arlanda to
Bangkok five times per week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays,
Fridays and Sundays. From 28 November, the weekly frequencies will
increase to daily flights until 22 April 2022.
Flights from Arlanda to Phuket will be operated on
Sundays from 24 October 2021. An additional frequency will be
added on Thursdays starting 4 November and on Tuesdays from 30
November. Flights to Phuket will be operated until 21 April 2022.
Flights from Arlanda to Miami will start with two
weekly frequencies, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, beginning 23
October. From 29 November, flights will also be operated on
Mondays and Fridays, until 22 April 2022.
Finnair also flies to Bangkok, Phuket and Miami
from its home base Helsinki Airport.
