Bangkok Airways is waiving rebooking fees for those who hold tickets issued on or before 6
April 2021 for travel up to 30 April 2021.
Thailand recently reported its first local
transmissions of the more contagious and deadly B.1.1.7 variant of
COVID19, originally discovered in the UK in September 2020.
Numbers have since surged, with the Kingdom recording a record 985
new cases on Monday, 12 April and 967 on Sunday, 11 April.
Passengers are allowed to rebook their tickets
without rebooking fees or request a refund in the form of a
travel voucher to be used for future ticketing.
Passengers can make any necessary changes up to 24
hours prior to their flight.
Passengers who purchased their tickets directly
with Bangkok Airways can contact the airline's call center Tel 1771 or
02-270-6699 from 08:00 to 20:00, or make the desired changes on
the airline's website.
Those who booked tickets through a travel agent are
advised to contact their agents directly for further arrangements.
Moreover, the airline encourages passengers to
check announcements, orders, and travel procedures, for each
destination prior to travel from the related authorities such as:
the Centre for COVID-19 Situation Administration
(CCSA), Airports of Thailand, and the Department of Airports.
