Six Senses has expanded its portfolio or luxurious
resorts to Ibiza, Spain.
Conceived by architect and developer Jonathan
Leitersdorf, the Six Senses Ibiza is located in Xarraca Bay on the
northern tip of the island.
The property features 116 guest rooms and suites,
including one-of-a-kind cave suites built into the cliffs. There
are also a handful of Village Residences which are designed for large groups or
longer-term stays.
Powered by its
own renewable energy source - by up to 51% at any given moment - and with zero waste and zero single-use plastic targets,
the resort has sustainability at its core. As such, the result is
the Balearic Islands’ first resort and residential community to
achieve certification by BREEAM.
The resort features a variety of F&B outlets, a
spa,
state-of-the-art fitness area, rooftop yoga platform, outdoor
boxing ring, steam room, salon, hot bath and more. A selection of complimentary water activities includes snorkeling, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding
and even underwater guided meditation.
Those who want to unlock the magic
of the surrounding area can take a paddle trip to the fishermen’s
huts at Cala Xuclar, shop at the local Sunday craft market in
bohemian San Juan or take a boat trip to the mystical Es Vedra
island.
Rates for Six Senses Ibiza begin at EUR 750 in
summer and
EUR 390 in the winter season.
