Geraldine Dobey has returned to Mandarin Oriental as
General Manager of the group's luxurious hotel in Paris, France.
Geraldine will also oversee the operations of
Mandarin Oriental, Geneva and the Mandarin Oriental, Marrakech, the
former of which she worked at previously as part of the leadership
team.
Originally from Ireland, Geraldine began her
career in the hotel industry in 1991 and held several operational
positions before becoming Hotel Manager at the Hilton London Mews
in 1999.
From there, Geraldine went on to hold the position
of Hotel Manager at the Hilton London Hyde Park and Director of
Operations at the Langham Hilton.
In 2003, the Hilton Group appointed her General
Manager of the Hilton Paris, which she ran for five years before
taking charge of the Hilton Arc de Triomphe and then Hotel
Barrière Le Fouquet’s Paris.
In December 2019, Geraldine won General Manager of
the Year at the Worldwide Hospitality Awards.

Geraldine has a bachelor’s degree in Hotel and
Catering Management from the Galway Institute of Technology.
