Serena Lim, Vice President, Development, South
East Asia & Korea, IHG said, “This hotel, with its convenient location and
Crowne Plaza’s work/life blend experience, is ideally placed to
act as both the centre of the community and the venue where
everything happens. Modern travellers and visitors will benefit
from the hotel’s design, which offers a seamless transition
between work and downtime. It also complements IHG’s strategy to
support the governmental masterplan to grow in industrial
locations.”
Facilities at the hotel will include an executive lounge,
a choice of multi-function rooms - including an 850 sqm ballroom,
two F&B outlets, as well as an outdoor pool, gym and spa. Some of
the rooms will have a kitchenette, making them suitable for longer
stays.
Bui Xuan Trung, Chairman, Bao Quan, said, “We chose to partner with IHG for our first venture
into hotel management due to their strong local presence in
Vietnam, as well as their truly global scale, enterprise and
systems. Their team has been sensitive to our needs as we enter
the final build stage and, together, we have made cost-effective
tweaks to the existing design to bring the Crowne Plaza brand to
life, while accentuating the business and meetings focus of the
hotel.”
IHG has been in Vietnam for over a decade and
currently has 14 hotels across four brands: Six Senses,
InterContinental, Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn, with another 15
properties in the pipeline, which includes brand entries for
Regent in Phu Quoc and voco Hotels in Danang.
