Pamela Fletcher to Join Delta as Chief Sustainability Officer

(16 Dec 2021)  Delta Air Lines has appointed Pamela Fletcher as Senior Vice President and Chief Sustainability Officer, effective 1 February 2022.

Pam will also join Delta's Leadership Committee and will report directly to Ed Bastian, CEO.

Pam will join Delta from General Motors where she is Vice President of Global Innovation, responsible for developing and growing new businesses, disrupting established industries, entering new markets and attracting new customers.

Prior to that, Pam worked as Vice President of Electric Vehicles, leading the teams responsible for developing electric and autonomous vehicles.

Amelia DeLuca will support Pam in her new role and has been promoted to Vice President – Sustainability.

"Her expertise and credibility will expand our ability to forge innovative partnerships, develop cutting-edge clean fuel and technology and invest wisely to reduce carbon emissions and waste in the years ahead. We’re excited that she will be bringing her deep experience, skills and vision to Delta as we chart our sustainable future together."

Pam has a Bachelor and Master of Science in Engineering from Kettering University in Flint, Michigan and Wayne State University in Detroit.
