Cross Hotels & Resorts has appointed
Harry Thaliwal
as
Chief Executive Officer.
After graduating in Switzerland, Harry started his
career within the hospitality industry in operations with
the Singapore-based Pan Pacific Group.
He subsequently moved to IHG and stayed for more
than 23 years before joining Centara Hotels and Resorts in
Thailand as Corporate Director of Operations.
In 2018,
Harry joined BHMA, Flight Centre Travel
Group’s Thailand-based hotel management business, as Executive
Vice President of Operations. The company
changed its name from BHMA to Cross Hotels & Resorts in 2019.
Cross Hotels & Resorts currently operates 21 hotels across
three brands – Cross, Cross Vibe and Away – in Thailand,
Vietnam and Indonesia.
“We are looking at pushing the
boundaries from our traditional base in Southeast Asia and going
further abroad,” said Harry. “If this crisis has taught us
anything it is agility. From that perspective, we are now able to
quickly tailor a whole suite of new options and fresh solutions
that cater to the specific individual needs of potential owners.”
