Malaysia Airlines has extended the rebooking
flexibility that offers passengers a longer ticket validity with a
one-time fare difference and service fee waiver.
Eligible passengers can now rebook their travels
on or before 31 December 2021 for travel to be completed by June
2022.
Malaysia Airlines previously offered passengers
the flexibility of rebooking their travels on or before 30 June 2021 for travel to be
completed by 31 December 2021.
Customers planning to make an advance
booking for future travel are encouraged to opt for Economy
Flex tickets, as they include
benefits such as unlimited date changes with no fees incurred
alongside other travel perks, such as free refunds without a
fee, Go Show flexibility, priority check-in, boarding, and
check-in baggage allowance of 35kg.
The airline is also currently working on a fully contactless journey
that will streamline a passenger’s journey and ensure that they
comply with all the latest COVID19-related policies
worldwide.
The contactless features, which are an
extension of the airline’s Fly Confidently campaign, will start from home, where passengers
can create and customize their bookings such as selecting
preferred meals, seats and other services with the integration of
enhanced features on Malaysia Airlines’ mobile app.
As Malaysia continues to impose quarantine on international arrivals from certain destinations, MHholidays,
the tour operating arm of Malaysia Airlines, now offers a
quarantine package that comes with premium hospitality including
complimentary transport and welcome drink at selected partner
hotels. The minimum number of
nights required for a quarantine stay is 7 nights.
