Bangkok Airways resumed flights between Bangkok (BKK)
– Chiang Mai (CNX), Bangkok (BKK) – Phuket (HKT), on Saturday.
The
airline also plans to resume Bangkok (BKK) – Sukhothai (THS) and
Bangkok (BKK) – Lampang (LPT) on 1 June 2021.
The resumption of flights to CNX, HKT, THS and LPT
increase the number of
destinations that the airline operates to to five. These are:
Bangkok – Samui (USM): Daily
Bangkok – Chiang Mai: Currently thrice
weekly and then daily from 1 June
2021 onwards.
Bangkok – Phuket: Daily
Bangkok – Sukhothai: 4 flights per week on Mondays, Wednesdays,
Fridays and Sundays.
Bangkok – Lampang: 5 flights per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays
and Sundays.
The airline has also
extended the temporary suspension of in-flight meal service and
closure of its passenger lounges until further notice.
In addition, the airline has extended the temporary
closure of the following ticketing offices until 31 May 2021, at
the earliest:
1. Headquarter
office (Vibhavadi-Rangsit Road, Bangkok) 2.
Chiang Mai office 3. Phuket office 4. Chaweng office (Koh
Samui) 5. Sukhothai office 6. Trat office 7. Hat Yai
office (will be closed until 31 October 2021).
