The Dusit Thani Maldives has rebranded its Devarana
Spa as the Devarana Wellness.
From Thai-Sanskrit, Devarana means 'garden in
heaven' and dates back to ancient literature in which a garden at
heaven’s gate is described with ponds, beautiful scents and the
sounds of soft melodic harp music.
Guests of the luxury hotel, located on Mudhdhoo
Island in Baa Atoll - Maldives’ first UNESCO World Biosphere
Reserve, will be able to explore the Devarana Wellness menu and
create their own journey to a more relaxed state of being, to
their own vision of a garden in heaven.
Devarana Wellness will offer guests of all ages a
variety of experiences, including Thai herbal medicine, traditional healing therapies,
meditation, movement and nutrition.
“Wellness is not about a singular interaction or
service,” said Mr Paul Hawco, Corporate Director of Wellness. “It
is seamlessly integrated across our guest’s entire experience.”
The Dusit Thani Maldives is just 35 minutes by
seaplane from the capital city, Malé or a 25-minute domestic
flight and 10 minutes by speedboat from Dharavandhoo Airport.
