The Dorchester Hotel in London to Open Al Fresco Dining on 12 April

The Dorchester hotel in London will reopen its al fresco dining on 12 April 2021, with the launch of a rooftop restaurant and bar, and the return of The Dorchester Terrace & Garden and The Spring Garden.

The hotel, which will celebrate its 90th anniversary on 20 April 2021, will fully reopen from 17 May 2021.

With views across Hyde Park and East London, The Dorchester Rooftop will celebrate British, French and Mediterranean cuisine, overseen by executive chef Mario Perera. The rooftop restaurant and bar will be open daily from 12pm to 1am for lunch and dinner, with a lounge area to relax with a cocktail, glass of Champagne or a cigar whilst listening to a live band and DJ. Tables will be available for up to six guests. Reservations are required and there is a minimum spend of £60 per person.

The Dorchester Terrace & Garden, perched on the hotel’s famous forecourt, has just seven tables of two, serving an all new cocktail menu by The Bar at The Dorchester’s team of alchemists led by cocktail legend Giuliano Morandin, who celebrates his 40th year at the hotel this year. The Dorchester Terrace & Garden will be open daily, with tables available from 12pm until 11pm.

The Spring Garden has two private garden globes which seat up to five guests each. Guests will be able to enjoy a private dining menu curated by executive chef Mario Perera in partnership with Veuve Clicquot. The three-course menu celebrates the best of British and includes: Scottish diver scallops ceviche; blue lobster & Wye Valley asparagus; and The Dorchester coulibiac.

The Spring Garden will be open daily for lunch and dinner with menus priced at £160 per person, including a glass of Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame Vintage 2004. A minimum spend of £450 per garden globe will apply.
