The 262-key Oakwood Residence Hanoi recently appointed
Franck Loison as General Manager.
Franck has over two decades of hospitality
industry experience, having worked for various hotels and
resorts in South East Asia.
Most of his career has been with Accor. Franck
joined the Sofitel Siem Reap in Cambodia as Director of F&B in May
2000, before being promoted to EAM just under three years later.
From there he spent almost three years at the
beautiful and extremely popular Sofitel Hua Hin as Resident
Manager and took up his first General Manager posting in 2007 at
the MGallery by Sofitel in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
In 2010, Franck was appointed AGM of AccorHotels
in Kuala Lumpur before spending five years as AGM of AccorHotels
in Bali and Lombok, Indonesia.
He joins Oakwood from the Sofitel Kuala Lumpur
Damansara where he worked for three years as GM.
“It has not been an easy time for the tourism and
hospitality industry in the past two years with COVID19. The most
important thing is that we all focus on being on top of our game,”
Franck said. “We believe that these serviced apartments, like
Oakwood Residence Hanoi, have the strong potential to further
develop as the preferred form of accommodation over traditional
hotels”
Franck graduated from the Hotel School of Paris,
France and Lausanne in Switzerland.
