Marriott has expanded its portfolio of luxury
hotels in China with the opening of The Ritz-Carlton, Harbin in
the north east of the country.
The new hotel, housed within an upscale mixed
residential and retail development in one of Harbin's tallest
buildings, is centrally located along the
city's Songhua River, only 3.2 kilometers from the transport hub
of Harbin Railway Station.
Harbin is the largest city in China’s Heilongjiang
province and is one of China's most popular winter destinations.
Each year, visitors come to marvel at larger-than-life ice sculptures that can be seen throughout the city
during its world-famous annual festival.
