ABS Jets to Use Beacon as Dedicated Maintenance Coordination Platform

ABS Jets, an executive operator and maintenance organization based in the Czech Republic, has signed an agreement to use Beacon as its dedicated maintenance coordination platform.

The deal marks Beacon's debut in Europe.

Developed by EmbraerX, Embraer's market accelerator for disruptive businesses, Beacon connects operators, maintenance services, and mechanics in a more efficient way, helping to ensure the rapid return of aircraft to service.

ABS ran the first maintenance case on 1 April and expects to run over 50 maintenance cases per year, reducing out-of-service time by 20%.

ABS Jets has a mixed fleet of aircraft and helicopters from several manufactures. The company expects Beacon’s adoption rate to increase among their partners in Europe and North America as they plan to not only onboard their own team members but also invite their OEMs and field service representatives while expanding the network to better serve their customers.

Since its launch, Beacon has concluded over 35,000 unscheduled cases by more than one thousand users.
