Emirates has unveiled plans to increase the number of
flights it operates to Maldives and Seychelles.
The Dubai-based airline will increase the 24
weekly flights it currently offers to Maldives to 28 flights per
week from 28 March to 18 April.
Flights to Seychelles will increase from five per week to
seven per week, also starting 28 March, though this extension will
continue until 30 October 2021. Seychelles is set to re-open its
borders for international travellers with no vaccination or
quarantine requirements, starting 25 March.
All travellers to Maldives,
excluding Maldives citizens, must present a negative COVID19 PCR
test result, conducted within 96 hours prior to departure.
Travellers are also requested to complete the online immigration
and health self-declaration form within 24 hours prior to arrival.
All travellers will still be required to present a
negative PCR test taken 72 hours prior to departure.
As travel restrictions can change at any moment,
travellers are strongly advised to check all the latest travel
requirements of their country of origin, any transit countries
they may need to stop in, as well as their final destination.
