Marriott Opens Pet-Friendly Hotel in Barranquilla, Colombia

(11 August 2022, 12:02 +07)  Marriott has expanded its portfolio of hotels in Colombia with the opening of a hotel in Barranquilla, one of the five most important cities in the country and a major tourist destination.

The city, which hosts the annual 5-day Carnival of Barranquilla, is located on the Caribbean coast, next to the delta of the Magdalena River and close to the Caribbean Sea.

The Barranquilla Marriott Hotel features 191 guest rooms and nine suites featuring technology-enabled work surfaces, open closets and LED TVs. Additionally, through a longstanding partnership with TED, guests will have access to specially curated in-room TED content to enjoy during their stay.

Facilities include two restaurants and a bar, a M Club lounge, over 19,000 square feet of meeting and event space, a fitness center, outdoor swimming pool and even special accommodation for four-legged guests.
