Ewan Taylor has moved to Siem Reap as General Manager
of the Shinta Mani Angkor and Bensley Collection Pool Villas.
Born in Cape Town South
Africa, Ewan has over 13 years of experience working in the
hospitality industry.

After studying at the prestigious Glion Institute of Hospitality
Management in Switzerland, he moved to Sri Lanka in 2009 and has
since worked for a variety of hotels throughout Southeast Asia.
Ewans' most recent role
prior to joining Shinta Mani Angkor and Bensley Collection Pool
Villas Siem Reap was as pre-opening General Manager for the Jati
Island Resort in Phnom Penh, which is scheduled to open later this
year and is also managed by HMD Asia.
Ewan has also worked in different positions for the Galle Fort Hotel in Sri Lanka, Seven
Terraces Hotel in Penang Malaysia, Villa Samadhi in Kuala Lumpur,
X2 Chiang Mai Riverside Resort Chiang Mai Thailand and the Villa
Samadhi Singapore & Tamarind Hill Restaurant.

these amazing properties in Siem Reap, currently at 49 keys, which
will expand to 115 keys later this year with the addition of an
additional 66 rooms in readiness for the high season. We offer
guests a highly personalised experience with gracious Cambodian
hospitality,” Ewan said.
