Marriott has expanded its portfolio of hotels in
Japan with the opening of The Westin Yokohama.
Owned by Sekisui House, the 373-room hotel is
located in Minato Mirai, Yokohama's new central business district,
approximately 25 minutes from Haneda Airport (HND)
and 36 minutes from Tokyo city centre by train.

debuts as a haven of renewal, offering guests and locals a
distinct experience in Japan’s new central business district and

Drawing inspiration from the concept of biophilia, which is built on the premise that a connection to
nature enhances well-being, the hotel was designed by G.A. Design
of London
The 373 guestrooms feature Heavenly Beds as
well as wide,
floor-to-ceiling windows and bathrooms fitted with Heavenly Bath rain showers,
White Tea aloe bath amenities, extra-large bath towels and plush
bathrobes.
Facilities at the hotel include 11,000 square feet
of indoor and outdoor event space, five F&B outlets, a dedicated wellness
floor of over 10,000 square feet offering Japan’s first Heavenly Spa by Westin,
a heated
indoor swimming pool and the brand’s WestinWORKOUT Fitness Studio with TRX training equipment.
A local RunWESTIN program provides jogging maps that
offer a choice of either a four or six-kilometer scenic routes
around the futuristic Minatomirai waterfront area.
