Cebu Pacific Takes Delivery of 10th Brand New Airbus A321neo

(14 Apr 2022, 11:51 +07)  Cebu Pacific has taken delivery of its 10th brand new Airbus A321neo (new engine option).

The airline’s newest A321neo provides a 20% increase in fuel-efficiency, on top of almost a 50% reduction in noise footprint compared to previous generation aircraft.

The cabin of the new A321neo features lightweight ergonomic seats by Recaro, with yellow and sky-blue details, reminiscent of the colors of the airline’s hometown, Cebu.

Each seat also has an A/C compatible USB port allowing passengers to recharge their devices onboard.

The aircraft is set to enter service this month, flying customers and cargo to various destinations across the airline's domestic network of 34 destinations in Philippines.

“Our shift to the more fuel-efficient NEO engine aircraft not only supports our sustainability strategy, but also enables us to continue offering our trademark low fares for everyone,” said Alex Reyes, Chief Strategy Officer at Cebu Pacific. “The arrival is timely because we see positive developments indicating recovery. We are continuously ramping up our domestic network and are preparing for more international destinations to ease restrictions for leisure travelers.”

Cebu Pacific’s current fleet comprises of twenty two A320ceo, six A320neo, seven A321ceo, ten A321neo, six A330ceo, two A330neo, fourteen ATR 72-600, six ATR 72-500 and two ATR Freighters.
