Jetstar Asia has resumed flights between
Singapore and Danang, Vietnam.
With two-way quarantine-free travel now available
between the two cities, Jetstar Asia will operate the route with two flights per
week.
Flight 3K541 is scheduled to depart from Changi Airport
(SIN) at 18:55,
arriving in Danang (DAD) at 20:35. The return service, 3K542, is timed to
depart at 21:15 and arrive back at Changi at 01:00 the following
day.
First introduced in November 2015, Jetstar Asia
carried more than 200,000 passengers between Singapore and Danang,
before the service had to be suspended in March 2020 due to the
ongoing COVID19 pandemic.

“Singapore is one of the important flight hubs to
connect Danang to the rest of the world, facilitate oversea
travellers to come to Danang and open avenues for business
exchange,” said Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoai An, Director of Danang Tourism
Promotion Center. “We hope that
international tourism in Danang will soon bounce back along with
the proliferation of international flights. As important partners,
we will join hands to promote Jetstar's flights and contribute to
aviation and tourism recovery."
Jetstar offers travellers a Fly Flexible policy on flights
booked before 30 June 2022 with a ‘fee free’ date change
when travelling before 31 August 2023. Jetstar has also extended
credit vouchers for use until at least 31 December 2022, for
flights up to the end of 2023.
“Danang has always been a key destination for our
customers, not only for its beautiful sandy beaches, charming
towns and incredible food but as one of the country’s largest
cities, it is also an important destination for business travel,”
said Bara Pasupathi, Jetstar Asia CEO. “As border measures continue to be relaxed, it’s
great to be able to offer convenient international travel once
again and we expect to see customer confidence and demand recover
quickly.”
