Cebu Pacific to Increase Flights Between Manila and Dubai

(14 June 2022, 11:32 +07)  Cebu Pacific has confirmed that it will increase flights between Manila and Dubai to 10 per week, effective 2 July 2022.

The airline will operate the additional Manila-Dubai flight (5J 18) every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, with departure from Manila scheduled for 22:20, arriving in Dubai at 03:25 the following day.

The airline already operates daily flights (5J 14) timed to leave Manila at 19:20 and arrive in Dubai at 00:45.

“This is a chance for everyone to experience a bit of what Dubai has to offer – from its megastructures, shopping, food, and cultural heritage. With the easing of travel protocols in and out of the country, travelers also need not to worry about hassles when coming back to the Philippines,” said Xander Lao, Cebu Pacific's Chief Commercial Officer.

Travel requirements when flying to Dubai include a valid tourist visa, passport valid for six (6) months upon arrival, applicable Philippine Travel Tax Certificate (PH Tax), and any of the following:

- Valid vaccination certificate(s) (in Arabic or in English) that reflects the completion of doses of vaccine approved by the World Health Organization (WHO) or the United Arab Emirates (UAE), provided with QR code;

- Or a valid negative COVID19 test certificate (in Arabic or in English) based on a molecular diagnostic test issued within 48 hours from the time of collecting the sample and from an approved health service provider, with a QR code;

- Or a valid medical certificate (in Arabic or in English) issued by the relevant authorities that the passenger has recovered from COVID19 within a period of one month (the date of recovery and the date of arrival) provided with QR code System.

Fully vaccinated travelers coming to Philippines, on the other hand, are exempt from presenting pre-departure COVID19 test results for entry if they have received at least one booster shot.

Passengers are advised to to check with the authorities of their destination for the latest protocols and requirements.
