The Four Seasons Hotel Prague has appointed
Michelin-starred Marco Veneruso as Executive Chef.
Born in Naples and raised in the town of Campagna,
Marco has over 16 years of culinary experience.
Marco Veneruso
His career started in 2006 in his native Italy
where he worked with different restaurants, learning about the
various sections within a kitchen and gradually moving up the
ladder.
In 2010 he joined Four Seasons for the first time,
working as Chef de Partie in Florence. He spent 8 years with Four
Seasons before joining Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts in Beijing. It was
with Bvlgari that Marco earned his first Executive Chef
appointment, and his first Michelin star.
After Beijing, Marco returned to Italy to work
briefly as a Private Chef / Consultant and to with Small Luxury
Hotels of the World, before rejoining the Four Seasons family in
Prague as Executive Chef.
“I am delighted to be creating a new experience on
the dining scene in Prague, and tempting Four Seasons Hotel Prague
guests and locals with unexpected twists on the culinary
traditions of my native cuisine,” said Chef Marco. “My goal is to
build on my experience with running a Michelin restaurant as I
take on the hotel’s array of dining outlets. Italian is so much
more than carpaccio and gnocchi. I want our diners to be brave at
the table and to create gustatory memories that will bring them
back for more.”
Marco also oversees the hotel’s other dining
outlets including the Japanese experience seasonal restaurant MIRU
on a private terrace with beautiful views of the Prague Castle
and Charles Bridge.
