“We are excited to be expanding our relationship
with Signa and Central Group by introducing plans for Thompson
Vienna, the third Hyatt property in the city,” said Felicity

acquired the Danish department store Illum in 2013, and partnered
with Signa in 2015 to jointly invest in and develop The KaDeWe
Group, followed by Globus in 2020.
Sean Hill, Managing Director of Central Group
Europe, said, “The joint partnership is an important milestone for
Central Group and Signa, having joined forces with Hyatt, and is
an unique addition to our lifestyle and luxury portfolio in Europe
... The Thompson Vienna and the new luxury department store will
create a new, unique and immersive destination for tourists and
locals alike, offering an all-encompassing experience including
shopping, dining, entertainment and accommodation.”
Thompson Vienna will be the third Hyatt-branded
