Prior to joining CTM, John established carbon
reduction initiatives for national and global organisations across
numerous public and private sectors.
John is degree qualified in Environmental Science, an accredited

expertise in aligning organisations to sustainability performance

(NGER) Scheme, S&P Global and Global Reporting Initiative (GRI)
Standards.
“Being a service industry, CTM’s carbon footprint
is relatively light. The best way we can help to make a positive
impact on the planet is by putting our technology and insights
into the hands of thousands of businesses across the globe, to
enable them to make more informed decisions around their travel
activity and supply chains,” said Jamie Pherous, Managing
Director, CTM. “Our suite of sustainable travel solutions leads
the industry and is highly aligned to our customers’ feedback and
needs. They want to make more informed and sustainable travel
decisions while driving growth and sustainability for their
business, and they understand that business travel is a key
enabler of those outcomes.”
Reinforcing the importance of ESG to corporate
customers, CTM’s 2022 Global Customer Survey found that 56.8% of
respondents seek environmental sustainability features when
selecting an airline, hotel and car rental provider, and 70.3% of
respondents said access to information relating to supply chain
sustainability strategies will be ‘important’ to ‘very important’
in the coming 12 months.
