Air Astana has unveiled plans to launch flights
between Almaty (ALA) and London (LHR) with a stopover at Aktau
(SCO), western Kazakhstan, on 12
May 2022.
The airline will operate the service with Airbus A321LR aircraft
every Thursday and Saturday.
A connecting domestic
flight from Nur-Sultan, the capital city formerly known as Astana, will allow passengers to join the flight to London from Aktau.

Flight KC901 is scheduled to depart from Almaty at 10:45 and
arrive in Aktau at 13:05, with the onward flight from Aktau to London
departing at 14:05 and arriving in London at 16:05.
The return flight, KC902,
from London is timed to depart at 18:05 and arrive in Aktau at 04:10
the following
day. The departure from Aktau is scheduled for 05:10, arriving in Almaty at
09:00.
In addition, Air Astana will launch flights
between
Almaty and Milas-Bodrum Int. Airport (BJV) in southwestern Turkey on 27 May.
The twice weekly services
will operate on Tuesdays and Thursdays using Airbus A321 aircraft.
Flight KC659 is scheduled to depart from Almaty at 08:30 and
arrive in Bodrum at 11:50. The return flight is slated to leave Bodrum at 13:45, arriving in Almaty at 22:05.
