Wyndham Opens Two Hotels in Taiwan

(09/10/23) Wyndham has expanded its global portfolio of hotels with the opening of two properties in Taiwan.

The opening of the TRYP by Wyndham New Taipei Linkou and Wyndham Sun Moon Lake, in partnership with Qingyu Property and Lijing Enterprise, respectively, mark the first hotels for each brand in Taiwan.

TRYP by Wyndham New Taipei Linkou is located in Taipei, 20 minutes by car from Taoyuan International Airport.

The new 85-key hotel features a gym, two restaurants, free WiFi and parking, on-site car rental, a variety of meeting and event spaces as well as a local shuttle service.

Each non-smoking guest room (pictured) features a balcony, flat-screen satellite HDTV, sitting area, sleeper sofa, minibar, mini-refrigerator, coffee/tea maker, desk, ironing amenities, slippers, robes, bath products, hair dryer, welcome gift, and central air conditioning.

Wyndham Sun Moon Lake is located in the quaint Yuchi Township in the foothills of Taiwan’s Central Mountain Range.

This 197-key hotel is located just minutes from iconic local attractions such as the Sun Moon Lake Ropeway, Nine Frogs Stack, and Wenwu Temple, where guests can immerse themselves in beautiful natural landscapes.

The hotel also offers a variety of room layouts, along with private hot spring pools, a wellness centre, two restaurants, two bars, a fitness centre, pool, spa, children’s play area and an expansive banquet hall ideal for business gatherings, weddings, and celebrations for up to 400 guests.

The hotel is now in soft opening, with full facilities expected to be available in early 2024.
