Radisson to Expand Red Hotel Brand to Bangkok, Thailand

(10/06/24) Radisson Hotel Group has unveiled plans to expand its Red hotel brand to Thailand's capital city, Bangkok.

The company is scheduled to rebrand the Park Plaza Bangkok Soi 18 as the Radisson Red Bangkok Sukhumvit 18 in Q4 2025. Park Plaza is one of nine hotel brands that Radisson offers.

The Radisson Red Bangkok Sukhumvit 18 will feature 125 redesigned rooms, all equipped with the brand's Red Beds, power showers, high-speed Wi-Fi and a number of smart solutions.

Facilities at the hotel will include a number of fully connected public spaces, a fitness center, flexible meeting and event spaces, as well as rooftop pool and bar.

Radisson says the rebranded hotel will add a splash of colour to Bangkok's hospitality scene

The hotel is located close to Asok BTS skytrain and Sukhumvit MRT subway stations, whilst the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center and the lakes, lawns and paths of Benchakitti Park are within walking distance.

Thailand is one of Radisson Hotel Group’s key markets. The company has a portfolio of 14 hotels currently operating and under development, including the Radisson Red Phuket Patong Beach, which is set to become the brand’s inaugural Radisson Red hotel upon opening.
