Korean Air to Resume More Flights; Increase Services to Select Destinations

(18/03/24) Korean Air has confirmed plans to resume services to four cities in China, Europe and Southeast Asia, and increase flight frequencies on select major routes for the summer 2024 season, starting from 31 March 2024.

The expansion will allow the airline’s international capacity to reach approximately 96% of pre-pandemic levels, measured by available seat kilometers (ASK).

From Seoul Incheon, Korean Air will resume thrice weekly flights to Zurich, thrice weekly flights to Zhangjiajie, and four flights per week to Zhengzhou effective 2, 23 and 24 April, respectively.

The airline will also resume daily flights between Busan and Bangkok, Thailand on 25 April, after a hiatus of nearly four years due to the pandemic.

In addition, Korean will increase flight frequencies on the Seoul Incheon-Budapest route from three to four flights per week, the Seoul Incheon - Bangkok service will increase from three to four flights per day, and flights between Seoul Incheon and Manila will increase from double to triple daily.

Since January, the airline has been operating two additional frequencies on the Seoul Incheon - Bali route to offer a total of eleven flights per week to the popular island in Indonesia.

In North America, Korean Air will increase services on the Seoul Incheon - Dallas route from four flights per week to daily flights.
